About the role

  • Instrument handling and assistance in the operating room
  • Instrument and runner/circulating duties in accordance with in-house standards
  • Preparation and follow-up of surgeries and operating rooms
  • Supply and disposal of all materials
  • Maintenance and care of the complete surgical instrument inventory
  • Patient care before and during surgery
  • Assistance with patient positioning
  • Documentation of procedures, handling and outcomes in the OR
  • Participation in late shifts, on-call and standby duties

Requirements

  • Professional experience in the operating room (OR)
  • Further specialized training desirable
  • Team-oriented, motivated and flexible
  • Willingness to take responsibility and reliable work ethic
  • Quick comprehension and ability to work independently and responsibly
  • Commitment to optimizing work processes
  • Good computer skills
