About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the expansion of EV Realty’s owned real estate portfolio
- Involvement in acquiring and pre-developing new properties in up to four US markets
- Activities typical of a real estate acquisition process including sourcing, underwriting, diligence, and investment committee memo preparation/presentation
- Working closely with internal teams such as Data Science, Engineering, Product, Business Development, and Finance
- Involvement with power infrastructure, entitlement, and commercial considerations unique to EV Realty’s mandate
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or real estate-related field with a strong academic record
- 2-4 years of experience working in a commercial real estate acquisitions or capital markets capacity
- Mission-driven to combat the effects of climate change and global warming by tackling the urgent problem of decarbonizing the transportation sector at scale
- Specific experience with infill industrial, IOS, EV/AV mobility, or data center properties a plus
- Familiarity with power infrastructure, EV charging, or utility processes a plus
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills
- Excellent working proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) including the ability to write detailed formulas and macros in Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within and lead multi-disciplinary teams while earning buy-in from team members
- Ability to summarize complex issues and opportunities into succinct and actionable deliverables
- Enthusiasm and aptitude for problem solving and quantitative modeling/analysis
- Strong attention to detail
