About the role
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure clear and consistent input is provided to external contractors throughout the full development cycle;
- Work within an agile environment, setting priorities and defining business value and functionality for the development team;
- Oversee activities across multiple projects and contractors, tracking progress, ensuring quality and gathering input from relevant teams;
- Maintain a strong understanding of project goals and objectives;
- Review and validate requirements, taking into account input from key stakeholders and partner organisations;
- Propose practical solutions by combining technology and improvements to business processes;
- Contribute to planning and scheduling work within development cycles (sprints);
- Review deliverables and product features at the end of each development cycle;
- Organise and support live product demonstrations;
- Monitor progress and support reporting activities;
- Support clear communication and transparency across teams and stakeholders;
- Help prioritise and resolve issues or bugs;
- Collaborate closely with analysts, architects, stakeholders, project managers, and developers.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Experience with (Open-Source) data sharing tools (EDC, Gaia-X, others), models and standards (W3C DID, W3C DCAT, W3C ODRL, …);
- Experience with large, enterprise-level multi-user information systems;
- Experience with large projects or programmes;
- Experience in Agile as well as agile toolbox (i.e., JIRA, Confluence, Big Picture, Gliffy, Balsamiq, etc.);
- Excellent knowledge of Application Management Lifecycle;
- Good knowledge of cloud architecture best practices and patterns;
- Good knowledge of applications design;
- Good knowledge of modelling tools;
- Good knowledge of relational DBMS;
- Good knowledge of business process analysis;
- Good knowledge of interoperability technologies at cloud infrastructure level but also at service level (web services, message-oriented middleware, service-oriented bus, event architecture);
- The following certifications would be strongly preferred: Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Project Management certification: PMP, PMI, Prince2 Foundation, PM2 or equivalent;
- Excellent command of the English language.
