About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The collections clerk is responsible for recovering the maximum amount of overdue funds from customers
Prioritize and segment collection activities to maximize cash receipts
Contact customers regarding overdue accounts and determine reasons for non-payment
Issue payment commitment letters
Issue credit hold notifications
Coordinate changes to customer credit terms
Initiate small claims court complaints when necessary
Maintain accurate records of customer payment status

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum: High School diploma
Experience in accounts receivable (AR) or collections is an asset
Proficient with Google and Microsoft tools (Excel required)
Experience with Oracle Financial Applications is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High proficiency in English and French
