About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a senior advisor on wholesale electricity markets, guiding decisions from executives at our clients
- Manage complex, international projects
- Represent Nord Pool at conferences, workshops, and training events.
- Build strong relationships with clients, partners and key stakeholders.
- Identify new opportunities, develop proposals, participate to international tenders and secure new consulting engagements.
- Produce high‑quality studies, reports, presentations, and training materials.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years’ experience (including consulting) with proven domain knowledge in the power sector.
- Demonstrated experience and in-depth understanding of electricity market design and operation incl. good knowledge of efficient market features and processes, pricing mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks.
- Broader knowledge of other energy or commodity markets, regulatory frameworks, retail markets, or non‑European market designs is a strong advantage.
- Strong report writing and presentation skills.
- Degree in economics, business, engineering, or a related field.
