About the role
- - Research, update, and extend data from national and international statistical sources.
- - Analyze and manipulate datasets, carrying out calculations and numerical analysis as required using R.
- - Standardize raw statistical data to ensure cross-country comparability.
- - Extrapolate and interpolate data using both quantitative and qualitative methods to develop modelling and forecasting techniques.
- - Monitor, review, and enhance data quality.
- - Document all work processes to ensure team alignment and best practices.
- - Liaise with sales and marketing departments and handle client queries.
Requirements
- - Background in mathematics, econometrics, economics, or similar field.
- - Proficiency in R.
- - Experience in data manipulation, statistical analysis and time series forecasting.
- - Understanding of and interest in international economic, demographic and social trends.
- - Excellent communications skills and fluency in English (both oral & written).
- - Strong organizational skills, creativity and attention to detail.
- - Ability to work on own initiative.
