About the role
- Ensure research teams have the tools and training they need at every stage of the project lifecycle.
- Anticipate and mitigate data issues by designing robust validation tools and processes.
- Test and validate data and tools before internal and external release.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications.
- Build internal tools using Excel, SQL, Python, or work with developers to bring them to life.
- Coordinate data publications and reloads, ensuring all checks are complete.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a software or data-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills—able to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- High proficiency in Excel and solid knowledge of SQL.
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Python, or R is a plus.
