About the role

  • Engage on short-term ad-hoc market research projects coordinated remotely.
  • Work supported by a project manager in EMEAI offices.
  • Recruit and secure in-depth interviews with key industry decision makers.
  • Conduct interviews with manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, associations, government, etc.
  • Research contacts and network to establish industry links.
  • Review and collect information from secondary sources.
  • Visit retail stores to gather product information and speak to staff.
  • Analyse quantitative (MS-Excel) and qualitative information; hypothesis testing.
  • Generate MS-Word and PowerPoint reports in English.
  • Be available for a minimum of 30 hours per week when actively engaged on a project.

Requirements

  • Based in Czech Republic.
  • Self-employed contract work only (freelance/short-term contract).
  • Market research and interview experience; fluency in English are key.
  • Tenacity in the pursuit of information and a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to find strong industry contacts.
  • High level of numeracy - ability to work with, analyse, and interpret data.
  • Fluency in English and the local language.
  • Previous experience working on a short-term contract basis or in a freelance capacity.
  • Excellent time-management, organisation and self-motivation skills.
  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience within the financial field or FMCG/consumer service sectors is ideal.
  • Availability of minimum 30 hours per week when actively engaged on a project.
