About the role
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand and meet their specific translation needs.
- Translate written documents and materials from Arabic to English and from English to Arabic, ensuring accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
- Maintain the meaning, tone, and style of the original text in translations.
- Proofread and edit translations to ensure they are error-free and consistent.
Requirements
- Proven ability to manage assigned workload efficiently
- Strong editing skills to ensure accuracy and quality
- Awareness of project turnaround time expectations
- Familiarity with translation tools (please specify which tools you are proficient in)
- Period: minimum six months, long-term preferred.
- Proven experience in both Arabic-to-English and English-to-Arabic translation.
- Near-native proficiency in English, with exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Long-term freelancing is preferred.
