About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare experimental field sites and set up trials in accordance with defined requirements
Conduct observations, scoring and sample collection according to the protocols specific to each trial
Maintain regular communication with the study director on progress and study-related events
Collaborate with other field technicians
Ensure recording, verification and reliability of all experimental data
Ensure strict compliance with the study protocol and applicable regulatory guidelines
Contribute to the daily operation of the facility, including inventory management and equipment calibration

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hold a BTS in Agriculture or an equivalent qualification
Good knowledge of agricultural practices
Knowledge of the fundamental principles of agronomic sciences
Excellent organizational skills
Strong commitment to operational excellence
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Proficiency in French is desirable
Some knowledge of English is recommended
CACES R482 category F and Certiphyto are assets
