About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and/or support regional teams in project execution and service performance delivery
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the Clinical team and ECL
  • Oversee project conduct and maintain proactive, timely client communication
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and efficient study execution according to clinical protocols and quotes
  • Ensure projects follow ECL global project management standards and procedures
  • Obtain client approval on specifications and amendments before production
  • Deliver study setup, conduct, and closure on time, on specification, and within budget
  • Oversee corrective actions and escalate deviations to relevant leaders
  • Manage study budgets and complete financial management
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and inspection-ready Study Files
  • Support sales bid processes to gain repeat and new business
  • Work with QA, participate in study audits, and present the Study File
  • Resolve corrective actions assigned to the Project Manager
  • Execute projects within timelines and budget
  • Lead, manage, and support assigned projects
  • Senior Project Managers support Global Project Managers on global studies in their region
  • Perform other duties assigned by the manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate Project Manager: associate or bachelor degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Business, or industry experience in Central Lab
  • Project Manager: bachelor degree in healthcare/life sciences, preferably laboratory or clinical services, or significant Central Lab industry experience (5+ years)
  • Senior Project Manager: bachelor degree in healthcare/life sciences, preferably laboratory or clinical services, or significant Central Lab industry experience (5+ years)
  • Associate Project Manager: 1–2 years of relevant experience in complex project service industries
  • Project Manager: minimum 2 years of project management experience in complex project service industries
  • Project Manager: minimum 2 years of relevant clinical project experience with a CRO or Sponsor organization
  • Senior Project Manager: minimum 4 years of project management experience in complex project service industries
  • Senior Project Manager: minimum 4 years of relevant clinical project experience with a CRO or Sponsor organization
  • Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
  • Willingness to travel as required for investigator meetings, client meetings, and internal global meetings
  • Fluent in English
  • Other languages of operating sites and global clients are advantageous
  • Strong customer focus and quality orientation
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to assimilate and rationalize large volumes of information and determine the best course of action
