About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, configure, and maintain tests, test lists, and test bundles within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
- Support compendial updates, pricing changes, and evolving laboratory requirements
- Interpret analytical methods, compendia, and technical documentation to ensure accurate and compliant test builds
- Collaborate with laboratories to develop solutions meeting testing and reporting needs
- Manage multiple priorities while meeting quality and productivity objectives
- Work independently with little supervision to accomplish assigned tasks and meet team objectives
- Assess and implement process improvements that enhance consistency, efficiency, and data quality
- Provide technical expertise and support for Analytical Definition initiatives and laboratory requests
- Communicate progress, risks, and key updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Uphold GMP, GLP, quality, compliance, and data integrity standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma required
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered
- Laboratory experience preferred
- Previous work experience using the USP or Ph. Eur. is a plus
- Experience working in a LIMS preferred
- Self-motivation
- Excellent quality of work and attention to detail
- Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines
- Effective communication with coworkers and internal/external clients
- Ability to use a personal computer and learn necessary programs
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Organizational ability
- Availability Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with overtime as needed
