About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze monthly Business Unit reports
- Monitor, consolidate and analyze the monthly performance of Business Units using cost accounting
- Contribute to the analysis of operational entities’ performance against their objectives
- Take part in the budget process: contribute to strategic management discussions and follow up on implementation of management requests
- Develop and deploy budgeting tools to support business leaders
- Be proactive: identify improvements to the department’s processes and tools
- Validate major laboratory investments in line with the budget
- Assist in preparing funding requests to the group
- Provide daily support to operational teams and respond to their various requests
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree from a business school, general engineering school, or university (specialization in Finance)
- Previous experience in or a strong interest for finance-related areas
- You enjoy taking on ambitious challenges and have a strong work ethic
- Curious and pragmatic
- Organized and rigorous, with attention to detail and a strong sense of commitment
- Dynamic and able to work autonomously on assigned tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a high capacity to adapt
- Strong proficiency with information systems (Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; ERP systems; Power BI)
