About the role

  • Lead Eurofins into a new era of data-driven decision-making by redefining the organization’s approach to Business Intelligence, advanced analytics, and AI
  • Shape the long-term vision while guiding the transition from legacy systems to scalable, secure, and efficient platforms
  • Foster a culture of innovation, curiosity, and continuous improvement
  • Mentor and inspire a cross-functional team of BI engineers, data scientists, and platform specialists
  • Design and optimize end-to-end pipelines
  • Elevate structured data modeling and enterprise reporting into flexible, cloud-optimized solutions
  • Operationalize AI and machine learning models through Azure AI Foundry, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and similar platforms
  • Ensure scalability, observability, and security across the entire data ecosystem
  • Define the e-commerce EDI and transactional integration strategy for Eurofins IT applications

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Over five years of experience across BI, data engineering, or data science
  • Proven leadership responsibilities
  • Deep knowledge of both legacy BI environments and modern AI/ML workflows
  • Strong experience with Azure-based data architectures
  • Comfort with semantic models, curated datasets, and high-performance dashboards
  • Mastery of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and governance
  • Familiarity with MLOps, model lifecycle management, and reproducibility
  • Experience in regulated industries such as pharma or healthcare
  • A solid understanding of data privacy, access control, and compliance
  • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, event-driven architectures, or Snowflake technologies
  • Clear communication, ease in navigating international collaboration, and a genuine passion for innovation
