About the role
- Ensure that IT Infrastructure Services are delivered effectively to customers
- Manage and motivate IT Operations Crews to perform and collaborate in corporate manner
- Manage cost effectiveness of the EUDC Infrastructure
- Ensure that the defined processes (e.g. Incident Management and Change Management) are well applied
- Drive innovation processes
- Ensure that new processes are well introduced and understood by the crew
- Directly responsible of the EUDC Platform and the operating Crews
- Monitor the capacity and availability of IT Infrastructure Services hosted in EUDC
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or comparable education
- Certification ITIL Foundation V3 highly appreciated, but not mandatory
- Certification ITIL Intermediate or Lifecycle highly appreciated, but not mandatory
- Significant experience required as IT Operations Manager or comparable experience managing/working in an enterprise level data centre with more than 2,500 servers and a crew with at least 5 members
- Strong experience required in storage and virtualization technologies
- Background as IT System administrator (Cisco, HP, Windows operating system, VMware and NetApp) required
