About the role

  • Develop and implement effective commercial strategies for the Germany region.
  • Design practical solutions that help farmers make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Strengthen customer relationships through agronomic expertise and a deep understanding of agricultural needs.
  • Conduct thorough market analyses and research to support strategic business planning.
  • Develop targeted strategies to acquire new customers and to nurture and grow existing client relationships.
  • Build and lead high-performing teams to develop innovative solutions and continually optimize existing services that deliver real value to our customers.
  • Establish and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Systematically track, analyze, and evaluate commercial performance using defined KPIs.
  • Responsible for budget planning, cost control, and achieving financial targets.

Requirements

  • University degree, preferably in agronomy/agricultural sciences or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in the agricultural sector and a strong network within the industry.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset combined with a strong hands-on mentality and a "lead by example" leadership style.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, leadership experience, and a solid sense for professional customer management.
  • Solid knowledge in market analysis and familiarity with relevant commercial metrics and KPIs.
  • Proven practical experience in reporting, budget planning, and financial management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – German at C2 level; English business-fluent (negotiation-level), both written and spoken.
  • High willingness to travel within Germany.
