About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work on international tax planning projects in the countries where the Eurofarma Group operates, with support from local teams and external consultants;
- Perform domestic and international tax analyses based on internal studies and reviews of tax legislation, identifying efficiency alternatives and ensuring the tax compliance and security of operations;
- Support corporate and tax restructuring projects, suggesting options, assessing tax impacts, and assisting with implementation with a focus on direct taxes;
- Responsible for monitoring projects and analyzing tax impacts, seeking to identify the best alternatives to be used in executing contracts and projects related to domestic and international operations;
- Assist with tax analyses related to cross-border operations and international treaties;
- Support corporate (tax) governance of international and domestic operations, suggesting controls and assisting in their development and execution;
- Act as a partner to business areas, identifying the best alternatives to be used and conducting analyses and studies that contribute to the creation, modification, or improvement of tax practices in collaboration with other company areas.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, and/or Business Administration;
- Advanced English;
- Spanish desirable;
- Proven experience with direct taxes (IRPJ and CSLL) and international tax law, as well as experience in tax advisory/consulting;
- Experience at a Big Four firm and/or in the tax department of large corporations is desirable;
- Experience with indirect taxes (PIS, COFINS and ICMS) is desirable;
- Knowledge of tax reporting obligations (ECF/ECD/EFD);
- Intermediate/advanced Excel;
- Knowledge of corporate accounting is desirable;
- Experience in transfer pricing and M&A projects (tax-focused) will be considered a plus.
