About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, implement, and manage cloud network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
Collaborate with the cloud engineering team to integrate and manage Azure public cloud services.
Implement and manage VPNs, load balancers, and other network services in Azure.
Ensure network security by implementing best practices and staying up-to-date with the latest security trends.
Provide support for private cloud network infrastructure, including hardware and software maintenance. We will provide training on this if you do not have data centre experience.
Taking part in the exploration and adoption of new technologies and practices
Maintaining an eye for continuous improvement, taking part in retrospectives, planning and stand ups
Included on the on-call support rota

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hands on knowledge of the Clearbank platform technology stack: Terraform, Azure DevOps Yaml pipeline and templates.
Experience in configuring network services in Azure or any other public cloud provider.
Ensure network security by implementing best practices and staying up-to-date with the latest security trends.
Proven experience in a Platform environment working with a product first mindset
Proactive approach to problem, incident and risk management with excellent communication skills
