About the role

  • Set and communicate a clear vision for EG’s impact partnerships, balancing community-driven approaches with consultative services
  • Develop and execute tailored, content-led client engagement strategies and thought leadership campaigns
  • Provide high-level strategic counsel to clients on impact strategy and communications
  • Facilitate a consultative sales approach prioritizing depth and sustainable value
  • Organize and host roundtables, panels, and advisory councils to foster ongoing client engagement
  • Lead training and development of commercial teams for impactful client interactions
  • Drive cross-business collaboration to align impact partnership initiatives
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team, providing leadership and professional development
  • Establish and track metrics to measure outcomes and impact of partnership activities
  • Collaborate with business line leaders and cross-functional teams to identify, close, and execute partnership opportunities

Requirements

  • Significant experience (typically 10+ years) in strategic partnership development, consultative engagements, or related field serving cross-sector clients
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow client relationships at the C-suite level, particularly with CMOs and executive leadership
  • Proven success in community building, stakeholder convening, and developing platforms for thought leadership
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams to achieve commercial and engagement goals
  • Strong understanding of strategic communications, impact strategies, and multi-sectoral ecosystems
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Proactive self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across business lines and matrixed organizations
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master’s) strongly preferred
  • Location: New York or Washington, DC (must be able to work from these locations)
