About the role

  • Learn, understand, and support C&R’s BD/sales operations.
  • Assist with research, scoping, and drafting of proposals, strategy plans, presentations, client emails, and discussion documents for sales leads.
  • Research C&R sector to identify and target new business prospects and relevant issues.
  • Maintain/update Salesforce and sales pipeline records.
  • Research the competitive environment to inform strategy.
  • Support client/prospect relationships, including scheduling, communications, contract management, and record keeping (Salesforce, pipelines).
  • Support research and planning of events and trips targeting clients and prospects.
  • Assist in developing and implementing the overall C&R BD plan.
  • Learn, understand, and support CRM operations and communications.
  • Support client engagements and communications (scheduling, emails, etc.)
  • Help research, scope, and draft content and deliverables (reports, presentations, etc.).
  • Draft, maintain, and update client Strategic Account Plans, CSM pipeline, and Salesforce.
  • Assist with project management tasks and relevant research on global affairs, policy, and sector relevant issues.
  • Support in monitoring and evaluating the status of the largest clients.
  • Maintain and update Salesforce, Sales and CRM pipelines, Events Calendar, invite trackers, and other BD/CRM tools to enhance team’s operational efficiency.
  • Draft, format, and visually design/edit proposals, presentations, and deliverables, especially in PowerPoint and Word.
  • Take meeting notes and share post-meeting summaries.
  • Use project management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Monday.com) to improve team efficiency, record keeping, and scheduling.
  • Develop a robust understanding of public affairs, strategic communications, and the business landscape.
  • Understand the C&R ecosystem in which EG competes and identify key client engagement opportunities (e.g., events, non-profit initiatives, conferences, etc.).
  • Build strong writing, speaking, and presentation skills to engage clients.
  • Conduct basic research on companies and C&R sector business issues.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively with various teams.
  • Efficiently organize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects/tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; business or policy background preferred.
  • Acumen and experience establishing commercial relationships.
  • Excellent English communication—written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Adobe, Salesforce/CRM systems.
  • Visual design and formatting skills in PowerPoint/Word (preferred).
  • Experience/knowledge of C&R sectors (preferred).
  • Superior organizational and multi-tasking ability.
  • Experience in a global, English-speaking company.
