About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You operationally implement market research projects in the renewable energy sector — from planning through data collection to analysis and documentation.
  • You work with quantitative and qualitative methods and support the development and implementation of study designs.
  • You analyze primary and secondary data, structure datasets and ensure their quality and consistency.
  • You perform statistical analyses (including with SPSS) and present results clearly and tailored to the target audience.
  • You support the maintenance and further development of databases and the standardization of data processes.
  • You coordinate individual project components and liaise with internal teams and external service providers.
  • You contribute to the implementation of certification, rating and analysis projects and ensure the underlying data quality.
  • You contribute to the optimization of processes, tools and workflows — with a particular focus on efficiency and automation.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree, e.g. in economics, social sciences, energy economics or a comparable field.
  • Several years of experience in market research, data analysis or a research environment — ideally with exposure to the energy sector.
  • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods and study design.
  • Confident handling of statistical procedures and tools (especially SPSS); interest in AI-supported analyses is an advantage.
  • Experience working with large datasets as well as in data preparation and structuring.
  • Very good skills in MS Excel (including pivot tables, formulas; VBA is an advantage) as well as PowerPoint and Word.
  • Interest in or knowledge of topics such as photovoltaics, energy storage, e-mobility or heating.
  • Analytical skills and a structured, meticulous working style.
  • Organizational talent and the ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel.
  • Strong communication skills, initiative and a pragmatic hands-on mentality.
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
