Office Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the daily operations of the Oakville office — from facilities and vendors to supplies, safety, and everything in between
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying operational gaps, building the business case, and leading the fix
- Manage vendor relationships and service delivery, including quotes, negotiations, and performance oversight
- Partner with IT to keep meeting rooms, technology, and collaboration spaces running without a hitch
- Plan and coordinate office events, onboarding logistics, and employee engagement initiatives
- Serve on the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) and champion a safe, compliant workplace
- Support budget tracking and make smart, cost-conscious decisions on behalf of the office
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years in an Office Manager, Workplace Experience, or senior administrative coordination role
- Post-secondary diploma or equivalent hands-on experience
- Proven track record of spotting inefficiencies and implementing real solutions — not just flagging problems
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience managing vendors, coordinating with facilities, and handling competing priorities without losing the thread
- Excellent communicator who builds trust quickly with colleagues, visitors, and service partners alike
