About the role
- Serve as a functional and technical subject-matter expert across Euna Budget, Euna Grants, and Euna Procurement solutions.
- Conduct tailored in-person and virtual demonstrations with charisma, clarity, and customer relevance.
- Re-engineer demo processes and maintain demo environments, including custom datasets, integrations, and vertical-specific configurations.
- Lead discovery sessions to identify client needs and map requirements to system capabilities.
- Assist in developing scopes of work, levels of effort, and solution designs during the pre-sales cycle.
- Support RFP responses, security reviews, and contract clarification as needed.
- Build strong relationships with prospects, including executives, analysts, and technical stakeholders.
- Participate in joint sales calls and collaborate with AEs to create a strategic demo approach.
- Deliver scheduled webinars and support marketing-led presentations.
- Provide consultative insights on industry best practices across budgeting, grants management, and procurement.
- Work closely with Product Development and Project Management to ensure alignment between promised functionality and deliverable capabilities.
- Support Customer Success and Implementation teams with post-sales handoff, solution clarity, and expansion opportunities.
- Provide customer feedback to product teams to support ongoing enhancements.
- Maintain deep knowledge of product roadmaps, implementation processes, and data structures.
- Prepare, load, and maintain demo datasets ensuring stability and accuracy.
- Assist with data analysis, system configuration, integrations, and report design during solution scoping.
- Ensure periodic demo database updates and alignment with new releases.
Requirements
- 1-2+ years as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer, preferably in SaaS, government technology, or public sector consulting.
- Experience with budgeting, accounting, forecasting, grant management, or procurement processes.
- Prior experience working with state or local governments strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with eCivis, Euna Budget, or Euna Procurement products is an asset.
- Exceptional presentation skills, comfortable presenting to large audiences and executive leadership.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging explanations.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and consultative skills.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, data analysis, system design, and business process mapping.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Professional Services.
- Able to travel 15–30% across North America.
