About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advise business teams and support regulatory engagement globally
  • Analyze and synthesize laws from U.S. federal and state frameworks to E.U., U.K., and beyond
  • Lead and support responses to regulatory inquiries, investigations, and enforcement matters globally
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, working with outside counsel, and engaging directly with regulators and government authorities
  • Collaborate with the Public Policy team to analyze new and emerging laws
  • Develop engagement strategies based on the evolving regulatory landscape
  • Balance risk and compliance obligations with business opportunity and operational realities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of regulatory experience (or combined regulatory and litigation experience) from law firm, government, and/or in-house work
  • Consumer-facing tech experience is required
  • Familiar with U.S. and global frameworks on content regulation and moderation, ecommerce, product safety and consumer protection
  • Licensed to practice in at least one U.S. state (New York or California preferred)
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a track record of leading complex cross-functional initiatives
