Key responsibilities & impact

Own the complete financial and strategic narrative for product progress and performance measurement at Etsy
Partner with Analytics and Product to develop business cases, track performance against goals
Lead analyses to uncover performance gaps and adoption trends
Independently develop ROI analyses, cost-benefit frameworks
Own the financial planning cycle including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts
Build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, or scenario analysis
Guide senior leaders on resource allocation and strategic decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience in product finance, strategic finance, strategy & operations, FP&A, management consulting, or a similar analytical role
Demonstrated experience shaping how teams think about and act on performance data
Track record of operating as a trusted strategic counterpart to product and/or engineering leaders
Strong analytical and modeling skills
Excellent communication and storytelling abilities
Experience as a dedicated finance or strategy partner to product and engineering teams
Experience with product experimentation (A/B testing)
Familiarity with enterprise planning tools (Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, etc.) and/or data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.)
