About the role
- Preparation of tax returns for all business-relevant types of taxes
- Preparation for tax audits and providing advisory support
- Communication with clients and authorities
- Preparation of financial accounting records and annual financial statements for all types of legal entities
- Review of tax assessments and performance of tax-related calculations
- Payroll processing for our clients across various legal forms and industries
- Independent management of a permanent client portfolio regarding wage tax, social security, employment law, and collective bargaining matters
- Coordination of payroll accounting in close cooperation with the accounting team
Requirements
- Successfully completed commercial or tax-related vocational training, or equivalent further qualifications
- Professional experience in financial accounting
- Solid knowledge of accounting under HGB and of tax law
- Confident use of tax practice software systems (DATEV / ETAX) and Microsoft Office
- Interest in shaping digital tax advisory services and enthusiasm for optimizing workflows
- A careful, independent, and solution-oriented working style
- Team player who enjoys direct client contact
