About the role

  • Preparation of tax returns for all company-relevant types of taxes
  • Preparation for tax audits and advisory support
  • Communication with clients and tax authorities
  • Review of tax assessment notices
  • Performing tax calculations
  • Preparation of bookkeeping and management reports for companies of various sizes, industries and legal forms
  • Preparation of VAT advance returns and EC Sales List (ZM) reports

Requirements

  • Completed training as a tax clerk (m/f/d) or (payroll) accountant (m/f/d), or further training as a tax specialist (Steuerfachwirt) (m/f/d)
  • Professional experience in financial accounting
  • Solid knowledge of accounting under HGB (German Commercial Code) and tax law
  • Confident use of firm software systems (e.g. DATEV, but also other software) and MS Office
  • Interest in shaping digital tax advisory services and enthusiasm for optimizing workflows
  • A careful, independent and solution-oriented way of working
  • You are a team player and enjoy active client contact
