About the role

  • Independently manage and expand our customer base in the sales region of Southern Germany, Austria & Switzerland
  • Focus on the sales of thermoforming films made from PP and PP-EVOH-PP as a strategic product group of ETIMEX Primary Packaging
  • Active market development in the food packaging segment, e.g., for sausages, cheese, convenience products and ready meals
  • Responsibility for the entire sales process – from preparing quotes through price and contract negotiations to on-time delivery
  • Identification of customer potential, investment projects and market trends
  • Development and implementation of market and sales strategies to sustainably increase revenue
  • Conducting competitor analyses and deriving targeted measures
  • Close cooperation with engineering, R&D and production to realize customer-specific solutions
  • Participation in trade fairs, customer events and networking meetings to strengthen the market position

Requirements

  • Degree in packaging or plastics engineering, packaging technology or a degree in business administration; commercial vocational training; or equivalent qualification obtained through professional experience or continuing education
  • Several years of experience in technical sales of plastic packaging, ideally with a focus on thermoforming films and food trays made of PP/PP-EVOH-PP
  • Sales-driven, communicative and persuasive personality with high self-motivation and strong closing skills
  • Strong technical understanding and advisory competence
  • Entrepreneurial thinking as well as a structured, solution-oriented way of working
  • Confident manner, negotiation skills and enjoyment of customer contact
  • Very good German and English skills; additional languages an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Willingness to travel within the sales region and a good network in the packaging and food industry
