About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the on-site Confirmation team in Newport, KY
  • Quantitation of MS data and final review of patient data and reports
  • Interact with clients to assist with report issues
  • Engage in professional work in conducting toxicological examinations
  • Participate in validation studies, proficiency testing programs, method development,
  • Communicate with on-site team and Supervisor through electronic means
  • Final review and certification of patient reports following established protocols
  • Transcribe and review data, checking for completion of demographic information
  • Document completed reports and comment as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments for quality standards in testing procedures
  • Complete internal and external rerun requests and perform data analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Biology, or similar analytical science field with at least 2 years of LC-MS/MS data analysis experience
  • Must have experience with toxicology (drug testing) certifying for patient lab reports
  • Preference for candidates with familiarity with LC-MS/MS instruments
  • Preference for candidates with familiarity with Agilent MS and LC systems
  • Previous work with bodily fluids – such as urine and oral fluid is preferred
