About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide a full range of psychiatric services to patients
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations (typically 75 minutes)
- Evaluate for safety and managing psychiatric emergencies
- Develop biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team at the wellness center
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic and related medications
- Recommend appropriate lifestyle modifications and supplements
- Make referrals out of the agency for other medical care
Requirements
What you’ll need- Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Licensed to practice medicine by the Texas Medical Board
- Experience working with children/adolescents in the medical field
- Preferred: 3yrs working in psychiatry
- Supplemental Training in integrative psychiatry/ integrative medicine or lifestyle medicine
