About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create and implement curriculum in Ethos online learning environments
  • Maintain regular synchronous sessions (minimum of ten times a semester)
  • Facilitate and grade all assignments in a timely manner

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in subject area is required; a master’s degree is preferred
  • Relevant teaching experience of 3+ years is required, with AP experience in subject area preferred
  • Current teaching certificate in Secondary Education is required
  • Knowledge of student cognitive development and various learning styles
  • Ability to create a curriculum that meets state/national/College Board and Ethos requirements
  • Computer literate in software and internet-based applications
  • Collaborative nature with the ability to build consensus
