About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide outpatient services primarily through play therapy and DBT-C groups.
- Utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy as a foundation for treatment following play therapy.
- Engage in psychoeducation, skills training, experiential exercises, and recovery concepts to facilitate long-term healing.
- Maximize client’s learning and practice of invaluable life skills.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Licensed to provide mental health treatment in the state of Texas
- Strong clinical background with solid experience in a psychotherapy setting as well as play therapy
- Highly-organized, self-motivated, collaborative, curious, and proactive
- Responsive to a fast-paced environment
- Fully licensed RPT experience preferred
- Afternoon and evening work required on 4 days until 6:30 pm
- Submit to a background check if hired.
