About the role

  • Management, planning and implementation of energy efficiency measures (ISO 50001) in the key areas: compressed air, drives, pumps, hydraulics, heat/cold utilization
  • Creation and monitoring of appropriate process key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Analysis of (sub-)processes and identification of influencing factors
  • Selection and installation of suitable measurement technology (meters, sensors)
  • Development of improvement potentials and implementation of economically viable measures
  • Selection and coordination of external contractors
  • Comparison of methods and processes within URSA plants and industry-wide (best in class)
  • Close cooperation with the energy management representative and conducting energy team meetings
  • Participation in internal and external audits
  • Provision and verification of necessary data for regulatory applications (emissions trading, SPK… )

Requirements

  • Completed engineering degree (TU/FH) or master craftsman/technician qualification in electrical engineering, energy and building services (refrigeration/air conditioning), thermal processes, compressed air technology, energy plant electronics or similar
  • Vocational/trade training or practical experience desirable (specializations: electrical, gas-water-heating, industrial mechanic or comparable)
  • Good MS Office and SAP skills; CAD is an advantage
  • Very good German and good English language skills required
  • Good knowledge of the energy sector and basic business administration knowledge
  • Quick comprehension and process understanding
  • Team-oriented, independent working style and strong problem-solving skills
  • Resilience and flexibility as well as occasional willingness to travel
