About the role

  • You develop and extend scalable backend services and RESTful APIs for our etaONE platform (using Spring Boot, Java/Kotlin)
  • In an agile Kanban team, you work on designing new features and actively help shape our backend architecture
  • You translate business requirements into clean technical solutions and contribute your own ideas
  • You ensure code quality through automated tests, code reviews, and clean-code principles and continuously develop your technical skills

Requirements

  • Degree in a STEM field (Computer Science or similar) or equivalent qualification
  • Some practical experience in software development (e.g., internships, student positions, or personal GitHub projects) and good knowledge of Java or Kotlin
  • Solid experience with REST APIs, relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), and Git
  • Ideally, initial experience with the Spring framework
  • Analytical thinking, team spirit, a strong willingness to learn, and a passion for clean code
  • Excellent German and good English skills
