About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage project stakeholders and ensure clear, proactive communication throughout the lifecycle of ongoing projects.
  • Define key milestones and produce structured reports at each stage of the project life cycle.
  • Work with data center managers across regions to ensure consistency and technical quality of design and delivery practices.
  • Contribute to the overall design and budgeting strategy for all projects: new builds, expansions, renovations, conversions, selection of mechanical/electrical equipment, etc.
  • Identify site-specific constraints, design gaps, and infrastructure routing issues with local teams, and propose optimizations.
  • Monitor and escalate risks, single points of failure, and other critical infrastructure issues.
  • Manage the capacity of our national data center fleet, in line with key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in project/program management in a critical environment (data centers, telecom, infrastructure, etc.).
  • Experience in vendor management, expansion planning, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex end-to-end projects in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • University degree in business administration, engineering, or a relevant field.
  • PMP certification (asset).
  • Electrical certification (asset).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and prioritization skills.
  • Rigorous, results-oriented approach with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take local initiative.
  • Strategic mindset and strong practical judgment.
  • Good knowledge of data center construction projects.
  • Knowledge of critical infrastructure: UPS, generators, BMS, chillers, security systems.
  • Understanding of UTI classifications and thermal guidelines (ASHRAE TC9.9).
  • Advanced proficiency in building systems.
