Sales Development Representative
EstimateOneSales Development Representative for E1's Supplier Sales team, identifying supplier leads and engaging prospects. Entry-level role focusing on building sales skills and pipeline management.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identifying and qualifying supplier leads and projects from multiple databases and sources
- Making outbound calls and engaging with prospects to understand their business, needs and challenges
- Booking high-quality meetings for BDMs and other outbound sales team members
- Running discovery conversations to uncover customer pain points and identify strong-fit opportunities
- Managing a pipeline of leads with discipline, focus and attention to detail
- Keeping accurate CRM records, including detailed notes from conversations and customer insights
- Working with marketing and sales teammates to make the most of existing customer data
- Sharing insights, learnings and market feedback with your team and the wider business
Requirements
What you’ll need- You’re looking to start or grow your career in sales, and you’re excited to learn
- You’ve got that Sales DNA. You’re curious, motivated, and willing to step into conversations with confidence
- You don’t need years of experience, but you do bring energy, resilience and a willingness to have a go
- You love picking up the phone to talk with people and build relationships
- You listen with curiosity, you seek to understand, and you can spot unmet needs or opportunities
- You’re comfortable working towards clear targets and outcomes
- You’re tenacious, methodical and upbeat
- You’re achievement oriented and enjoy the momentum that comes from a busy pipeline
- You have strong organisational skills and can keep clear, accurate records
- You’re a self-starter with a willingness to work as part of a small, dedicated and fun team
- You have a natural curiosity for how businesses operate and what makes them tick
