About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist with evaluations of client processes, procedures, systems, and programs.
Conduct stakeholder interviews and collect relevant information.
Synthesize and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
Assist with the design of new client processes, models, or systems.
Prepare and support analyses, reports, presentations, and other deliverables.
Contribute to project schedules, milestones, and deliverable quality.
Coordinate with project personnel and government stakeholders.
Support FEMA training, preparedness, and emergency-management initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least eight years of progressively responsible relevant experience.
Experience conducting interviews, data collection, synthesis, and analysis.
Experience evaluating organizational processes, procedures, programs, or systems.
Experience assisting with professional reports, analyses, and presentations.
Demonstrated ability to work independently or under general direction.
Proficiency with automated word-processing, graphics, and desktop-publishing systems.
Ability to qualify for a federal Public Trust background investigation.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
A master’s degree plus four years of general experience may satisfy the stated qualification structure.
Experience supporting FEMA, DHS, or another federal agency.
Emergency management, disaster preparedness, response, recovery, resilience, training, or exercise experience.
Federal management-consulting experience.
