About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform highly complex evaluations of procedures, processes, models, and systems.
- Design or advise on new procedures, processes, models, or systems.
- Provide strategic guidance, advice, and direction to the project team.
- Define and direct technical specifications, assignments, tasks, and due dates.
- Ensure the technical adequacy and quality of project deliverables.
- Guide the preparation of analyses, reports, recommendations, and presentations.
- Advise government clients regarding available options and next steps.
- Support senior-level decisions involving emergency-management training and program activities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 18 years of progressively responsible experience in a relevant technical or specialty area.
- At least seven years of experience serving as an internal or external consultant in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience providing strategic or technical advice to senior leadership or government clients.
- Experience directing complex evaluations, analyses, or technical assignments.
- Experience ensuring the technical adequacy of professional work products.
- Ability to operate effectively in a senior advisory capacity.
- Ability to qualify for a federal Public Trust background investigation.
- Graduate or professional degree in a related scientific, technical, or professional field.
