About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform product safety assessments on products and materials
  • Communicate assessment results to internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct toxicological evaluations and risk assessments of materials and finished products
  • Collect, review, and evaluate supplier documentation, certifications, test results, and analytical data
  • Collaborate with Suppliers, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, and Business teams
  • Provide product safety expertise in strategic and operational development projects
  • Ensure products comply with relevant safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements
  • Monitor developments in product safety, toxicology, and compliance
  • Share knowledge across the organization
  • Support continuous improvement of product safety processes and practices
  • Report to the Global Product Safety Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or another relevant scientific field
  • Experience working within product safety, material science, or a related area
  • Knowledge of toxicology is an advantage
  • Experience working in a complex matrix organization is an advantage
  • Experience working with SAP EHS/PLM is an advantage
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Structured and proactive approach
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
