About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform product safety assessments on products and materials
- Communicate assessment results to internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct toxicological evaluations and risk assessments of materials and finished products
- Collect, review, and evaluate supplier documentation, certifications, test results, and analytical data
- Collaborate with Suppliers, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, and Business teams
- Provide product safety expertise in strategic and operational development projects
- Ensure products comply with relevant safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements
- Monitor developments in product safety, toxicology, and compliance
- Share knowledge across the organization
- Support continuous improvement of product safety processes and practices
- Report to the Global Product Safety Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or another relevant scientific field
- Experience working within product safety, material science, or a related area
- Knowledge of toxicology is an advantage
- Experience working in a complex matrix organization is an advantage
- Experience working with SAP EHS/PLM is an advantage
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Structured and proactive approach
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills
