About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and pursue new and existing business opportunities throughout South-East Victoria, Gippsland Region and Tasmania
- Build close relationships with nurses, procurement teams and key opinion leaders
- Research market trends and identify potential partners and customers
- Negotiate contracts and collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful implementation
- Develop persuasive customer presentations and proposals demonstrating product and solution value
- Undertake territory planning to maximize business outcomes
- Use CRM and Power BI for data-driven prospecting and decision-making
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
- Manage the sales pipeline, including accurate forecasting and metrics tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute customer opportunities
- Visit public and private hospitals across the territory and travel quarterly to Gippsland Region and Tasmania
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 2 years of sales experience within the medical or consumables space
- Comfortable navigating relationships across hospital environments
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail in managing contracts and tenders
- Track record of sustainable and profitable sales delivery in the health and medical industry
- Strong negotiation skills
- IT proficiency, especially Microsoft Office, CRM systems and Power BI
- Ability to build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders
- Leadership qualities and a growth mindset
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English
- Current Driver’s License
- Access to a car
- Sales experience and a clinical background, or clinical experience with a genuine desire to enter sales
