About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain strategic business relationships, especially in the B2B environment, with a focus on purchasing associations and retail groups in Germany
  • Develop tailored sales strategies for complex B2B structures and their decision-making processes
  • Create customer plans to achieve or exceed sales targets
  • Regularly analyze customer information to identify and manage business risks and opportunities
  • Recommend products and services (value propositions) that meet customers’ business needs
  • Lead contract negotiations, including terms and conditions, product offerings, and pricing in line with overall product and pricing strategies
  • Provide continuous support and development for strategically important customers
  • Annually reassess customer prioritization for assigned accounts and develop and propose actions
  • Generate market development knowledge, customer needs, and competitor activities, and communicate findings to internal stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in hygiene products, consumer goods, or related industries
  • Solid understanding of the structures and operations of purchasing associations and retail groups in Germany
  • Proven track record of managing projects with strong team orientation as well as excellent communication skills and flexibility
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Analytical skills to derive growth initiatives as well as confident use of MS Office and high willingness to travel
