About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Account management and execution of the sales strategy to achieve sustainable revenue and profit development in the relevant target groups (primarily the hospital sector — procurement, physicians and nursing staff)
  • Planning, coordinating and delivering customer consultations and training (staff from hospital departments such as wound management, cast rooms and emergency departments)
  • Assisting with product evaluations
  • Working in cross-channel and/or interdisciplinary project teams
  • Participation in regional and national trade fairs and congresses
  • Monitoring competitor activity and communicating findings to the relevant functions
  • Deriving and implementing actions for your territory based on observations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in medical device field sales and/or a medical qualification (e.g. diploma-level nurse) with additional training in wound care (e.g. Wound Expert SAfW, ZWM or CAS/MAS in Woundcare)
  • Ideally experience in a cast room or familiarity with cast application equipment
  • Professional experience in sales, consulting, training and implementation of wound care products
  • Strong ability to communicate and present convincingly and authentically across all hierarchical levels and diverse target groups
  • Interest in business and commercial contexts and enjoyment of business development and new client acquisition
  • Determination, assertiveness, enthusiasm and team orientation
  • Fluent German; English skills are an advantage
  • High degree of flexibility and willingness to travel, and a valid driving licence (class B)
