Category Controller
EssityCategory Controller ensuring financial discipline in health and hygiene sector at Essity. Focus on financial analysis, resource prioritization, and collaboration with commercial teams.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze product, regional, and channel performance to generate actionable insights
- Evaluate innovation projects and other value‑creation initiatives
- Support strategy development and resource prioritization (people, capex, opex, A&P)
- Lead forecasting, reporting, and project follow‑up activities
- Work closely with Category and Commercial Development management to support decision‑making and reinforce financial discipline
- Summarize complex financial insights into clear, concise presentations for senior leadership
- Contribute to the annual budget cycle and provide ongoing controlling support
- Deliver targeted financial analyses and business partnering as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 3+ years in sales & marketing controlling (B2B experience is a plus)
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Power BI
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proven ability to partner with commercial teams to identify and drive value creation
- Fluent English
- Ability to travel up to 10%
