About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for managing and increasing the Essity Advanced Wound Care product portfolio sales within the assigned geographic territory.
- Target multiple call points throughout the continuum of care with a primary focus on Acute Care, Surgical Areas, and Wound Care Centers.
- Manage and penetrate alternate sites of care.
- Meet or exceed sales targets driven by key account closes and competitive conversions in all areas of the healthcare market.
- Effectively communicate/utilize clinical and product knowledge clearly and concisely.
- Conduct effective customer needs assessment and solution development.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders within targeted accounts.
- Interact with advanced practice clinicians and shape product choice decisions.
- Execute effective sales processes and contract implementations.
- Maintain and increase penetration in existing accounts and healthcare systems.
- Coordinate opportunities internally and externally with customers.
- Complete all administrative duties accurately and timely.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- At least 3 years of outside sales experience required; outside sales experience in the Healthcare Industry preferred.
- Exposure to wound care, surgical markets a plus.
- Additional experience in Business to Business sales helpful
- Self-Motivated, Able to be work independently, Competitive, Tenacious, High Integrity, Fearless, Strategic, Passionate, and a Team Player.
- Overnight travel, work weekends, and into the evening may be applicable (approximately 25-35% of time)
- Must be fluent in Microsoft programs; Excel, Power Point, etc.
- Experience with CRM recommended (i.e. Salesforce.com. Dynamics)
