About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You are responsible for operational quality assurance at the site and ensure compliance with our quality, hygiene and food safety standards
You build up the local operational quality assurance team and develop it both technically and organizationally
You ensure the site's audit readiness and operationally prepare internal and external audits, certifications and customer requirements
You ensure effective implementation of HACCP, FSSC 22000, SOPs and relevant quality processes in daily production
You analyze deviations, complaints and quality indicators, derive sustainable CAPA measures and ensure their implementation
You optimize on-site quality processes with a pragmatic, solution-focused and lean-oriented view of day-to-day operations
You work closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Laboratory and Central Quality Management to ensure stable and efficient processes
You promote a strong quality and food safety culture at the site and act as a visible quality leader in day-to-day operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

You have a degree in Food Technology, Quality Management, Process Engineering or a comparable qualification
You have several years of professional experience in operational quality assurance at a manufacturing company in the food or supplement sector
You have already led a team or have extensive experience in the functional management of staff in the quality environment
You possess solid knowledge of HACCP, FSSC 22000, GMP, hygiene requirements and in preparing and supporting audits
You are experienced in handling deviations, complaints, root cause analyses, CAPA processes and quality-relevant KPIs
You see quality management not only as a set of rules but as an operational partner for stable, efficient and safe production processes
You work in a structured, decisive and solution-oriented manner — even when production operations become dynamic
You are strong in communication in German and English and bring assertiveness, a hands-on mentality and a good sense for people and change processes
