About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You develop and enhance modern backend applications and services
You build microservices, APIs, integrations and new features across our system landscape
You work with event-driven technologies (AWS SNS, SQS, EventBridge, Lambda)
You contribute to technical concepts and solution design
You ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and clean architecture principles
You collaborate closely with Product and cross-functional teams
You actively participate in knowledge sharing within the Engineering team

Requirements

What you’ll need

You have practical experience with PHP and frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel
You are familiar with modern software architectures and event-driven systems
You have some experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS
You have experience with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD processes
You have a structured, solution-oriented, and collaborative way of working
You actively use AI tools in your daily development work and understand their effective application
You have very good English skills, German is a plus.
