About the role

  • Own and drive the FP&A function within Business Controlling, ensuring best-in-class financial steering and transparency
  • Act as a strategic finance partner to company leadership, providing insights, challenging decisions, and enabling data-driven growth
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes, elevating them to a forward-looking, business-critical function
  • Design and build next-generation FP&A reporting and planning capabilities, shaping the future of finance within the organization
  • Take end-to-end ownership of financial data flows—from source systems to reporting output—ensuring consistency and a single source of truth
  • Evolve and scale the financial systems landscape (e.g. ERP, BI, planning tools), driving integration, automation, and data quality
  • Steer the monthly closing and reporting processes, proactively identifying risks and opportunities while ensuring efficiency and standardization
  • Lead and develop a small FP&A team, fostering a high-performance, ownership-driven, and forward-thinking culture

Requirements

  • 6–8+ years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, or a comparable finance role
  • Strong expertise in end-to-end planning and forecasting, combined with a solid foundation in core controlling tasks
  • Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining financial planning systems and reporting architectures
  • Experienced with modern data environments and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, data warehouses, BI tools) and understand end-to-end data flows
  • Think holistically across data, systems, and processes, building scalable and future-proof FP&A solutions
  • Proven track record of transforming and scaling finance functions, including automation and advanced analytics (e.g. AI use cases)
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to translate business needs into impactful financial frameworks
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders in English; German skills are a plus.
