About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
Support monthly account reconciliations and general ledger activities.
Help prepare journal entries and maintain accounting records.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Review invoices, expense reports, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
Compile and organize financial data for internal reporting.
Assist with project accounting and contract-related financial tracking.
Maintain electronic and physical financial records in accordance with company policies.
Support audits and compliance reviews by gathering requested documentation.
Conduct data entry and validation within accounting and financial systems.
Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Current sophomore or junior college student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
Self-starter with ability to work effectively independently
Ability to quickly comprehend processes and learn systems and tools
Able to simultaneously handle multiple projects
Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
Comfortable with conducting independent research
Cross-collaborative and good communication skills to be able to communicate across teams and deliver quality projects on time
