About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Set the technical direction for DNS
Own the technical vision, architecture standards, and solution quality across the DNS portfolio
Partner with program leaders to ensure delivery teams are applying the right approaches to spectrum, EMSO, C4ISR, AI/ML, and IC mission system challenges
Drive thought leadership in RF/EW/spectrum and adjacent mission domains
Represent eSimplicity as a recognized technical voice in spectrum management, electromagnetic spectrum operations, spectrum sharing, and related emerging policy and technology areas
Shape winning solutions. Serve as the senior technical author and solution owner on strategic pursuits and priority proposals
Collaborate with Capture, Solution Strategy, and Chief Solutions Architect leaders to define win themes, discriminators, and technical approaches that are compliant, compelling, and executable
Build and sustain trusted relationships with technical counterparts across Navy, DHS, Air Force, DISA, FCC, and IC customers
Mentor and elevate technical talent. Coach program technical leads, solution architects, and principal engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
15+ years of progressive experience in defense, intelligence, or mission systems, with demonstrated technical leadership at the enterprise level
Deep domain authority in at least one DNS anchor area
Proficiency in applying AI/ML frameworks to automate complex regulatory or technical spectrum tasks
Proven record of shaping and winning competitive federal technology pursuits as a senior technical solution owner or principal solution architect
Hands-on familiarity with modern defense and IC technology patterns: cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP), DevSecOps, data pipelines, AI/ML product integration, RMF/ATO, and zero-trust architectures
Active Top Secret clearance required; TS/SCI eligibility preferred
U.S. citizenship required
