About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set the technical direction for DNS
  • Own the technical vision, architecture standards, and solution quality across the DNS portfolio
  • Partner with program leaders to ensure delivery teams are applying the right approaches to spectrum, EMSO, C4ISR, AI/ML, and IC mission system challenges
  • Drive thought leadership in RF/EW/spectrum and adjacent mission domains
  • Represent eSimplicity as a recognized technical voice in spectrum management, electromagnetic spectrum operations, spectrum sharing, and related emerging policy and technology areas
  • Shape winning solutions. Serve as the senior technical author and solution owner on strategic pursuits and priority proposals
  • Collaborate with Capture, Solution Strategy, and Chief Solutions Architect leaders to define win themes, discriminators, and technical approaches that are compliant, compelling, and executable
  • Build and sustain trusted relationships with technical counterparts across Navy, DHS, Air Force, DISA, FCC, and IC customers
  • Mentor and elevate technical talent. Coach program technical leads, solution architects, and principal engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in defense, intelligence, or mission systems, with demonstrated technical leadership at the enterprise level
  • Deep domain authority in at least one DNS anchor area
  • Proficiency in applying AI/ML frameworks to automate complex regulatory or technical spectrum tasks
  • Proven record of shaping and winning competitive federal technology pursuits as a senior technical solution owner or principal solution architect
  • Hands-on familiarity with modern defense and IC technology patterns: cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP), DevSecOps, data pipelines, AI/ML product integration, RMF/ATO, and zero-trust architectures
  • Active Top Secret clearance required; TS/SCI eligibility preferred
  • U.S. citizenship required
