About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with other disciplines (art, design, sound) in implementing the UI.
- Write code that fulfills the functional and technical requirements of the project.
- Participate in the design of products and perform some testing activities.
- Adhere to the project’s coding standards.
- Research coding techniques and algorithms in order to keep current on technological developments and advancements in the game industry.
- Identify technical and developmental risks/obstacles and generate solutions to overcome identified risks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience developing games professionally, and shipping AAA titles
- Experience using industry-standard engines such as Unity and UE5
- A keen analytical mind, with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong C++ skills and the ability to code and architect gameplay mechanics and tools
- Strong math skills
- Well versed in games and the ability to articulate what is strong/weak about the design of existing games
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and able to work independently
- Creativity in problem-solving and the ability to think outside of the established solutions
- Keen interest in games
